Scope of service

Administrative support for the apostille process.

Requirements depend on the document, where it was issued, and the country where it will be used. I collect those details first, explain the facilitation support available, and help keep the request materials and shipping organized.

Document-detail intake

Share the document type, issuing state or agency, destination country, and requested timeline. These details help identify the appropriate government instructions to review.

Mobile notarization when appropriate

If an authorized notarial act is required, I can arrange a separate mobile notary appointment. I cannot choose a notarial certificate or provide legal advice.

Request-material preparation

I can assist with the administrative organization of the apostille request form, payment materials, return envelope, and submission checklist. This does not include drafting or selecting legal documents.

Shipping coordination

I can help prepare outbound and return shipping materials and organize tracking information. Carrier delivery and government processing times are outside Frontera Signing’s control.

2. Issuing locationTexas, another U.S. state, or a federal agency.

The process

From document details to organized submission.

Common questions

Apostille facilitation FAQs.

Government requirements can change. Official instructions should be reviewed for each request.

Does Frontera Signing issue apostilles?

No. Apostilles are issued only by the appropriate government authority. Frontera Signing provides facilitation, administrative preparation, notary appointments when appropriate, and shipping support.

Does every document need to be notarized first?

No. Requirements vary by document. The Texas Secretary of State explains that a Texas-issued original or certified copy, or an original document properly notarized by a Texas notary, may be required for a Texas apostille request. The issuing authority’s current instructions control.

Can you guarantee that my document will be accepted?

No. The receiving agency and issuing government authority determine eligibility and acceptance. I can help organize the administrative request materials but cannot guarantee an outcome.

How long does an apostille take?

Timing varies with the authority, submission method, request volume, document readiness, and shipping. I will not promise a government or carrier turnaround time.

What if my document came from another state or a federal agency?

The responsible authority may be different. Documents from another state generally follow that state’s process, while certain federal documents follow U.S. Department of State instructions. I can help organize the next administrative steps after the document origin is identified.

Which Rio Grande Valley communities do you serve?

Assistance is available throughout the Rio Grande Valley, including Brownsville, Edinburg, Harlingen, McAllen, Pharr, Port Isabel, South Padre Island, Weslaco, and surrounding communities.
