When this is needed

Signatures that cannot wait for business hours.

Time-sensitive documents are the most common reason a notary is requested outside normal hours. Tell me the document type, the deadline, the meeting address, and how many signers are involved.

Same-day deadlines

Documents that must be signed today for a closing, lender, court date, travel, or a package that has to ship the same day.

Evenings after work

Appointments after normal business hours for signers who cannot leave work during the day.

Weekends and holidays

Saturday and Sunday appointments, plus holiday requests, accepted subject to the schedule and travel time.

Overnight and emergency requests

Late-night requests are taken by the receptionist immediately. Jose confirms whether he can reach the location and at what price.

Hospital and facility timing

Visiting hours, discharge timing, and facility rules can require an appointment at a specific hour.

Signing-service assignments

Loan packages that are released late in the day or require scanbacks the same evening.

How after-hours requests work

Request anytime. Confirmation comes from Jose.

Calls and texts are answered around the clock, and appointment requests can be submitted at any hour. Availability is checked against the live calendar, and any urgent or after-hours premium is confirmed with you before the appointment — it is never quoted automatically. Travel distance, timing, document type, and signer count can affect the final total.

What to have ready

Prepare once so the visit is completed in one trip.

Have the complete document ready and unsigned, an acceptable current government-issued photo identification for each signer, every required signer present, and any witnesses the document requires. Do not sign notarized sections in advance unless the document provider has instructed otherwise.

How it works

From late-night request to completed notarization.

Each appointment is confirmed with the location, time, and fee before the notary travels.

01

Request the appointment

Call, text, or submit the form with the document type, deadline, meeting address, and signer count.

02

Availability confirmed

The live calendar is checked, and the earliest workable time plus any after-hours premium is confirmed with you.

03

Meet at the agreed location

Home, workplace, hospital, care facility, or another agreed accessible location.

04

Notarize and return

Identity and willingness are verified, signatures are completed, and documents can be printed or scanned back when requested.

Questions

After-hours notary FAQs.

Contact Frontera Signing if your request has a fixed deadline or a specific time window.

Can I really call late at night?

Yes. Appointment requests are answered 24 hours a day. If Jose is with another client or cannot travel at that hour, the request is taken as a callback and handled at the earliest workable time.

Is there an extra fee for nights or weekends?

An urgent or after-hours premium may apply. It is confirmed with you before the appointment rather than quoted automatically, and travel distance, document type, signer count, and timing can all affect the total.

Do you take same-day appointments?

Same-day requests are welcome and are accepted whenever the schedule and travel time allow. Calling earlier in the day improves the odds of an immediate slot.

Can you meet at a hospital or care facility after visiting hours?

Facility rules control access. Where a facility allows it, appointments can be arranged at the time the staff approves — including evenings — provided the signer is available, willing, and has acceptable identification.

Do you supply witnesses?

Texas notaries cannot act as witnesses for the same document they notarize. If your document requires witnesses, they must be arranged by the signer or document provider, or discussed in advance.

What if I am not sure the document is ready?

Describe the document and the deadline. If it needs to be completed or reviewed, that should be handled by the document provider or an attorney before the notarial act.
